The Black Curtain
This has been bugging me for a good hour now :S plz help:
There is an NPC that spawns in The Black Curtain that only appears during a quest (so I've been told) He's not one of the three collectors and is found standing in a swamp. I tried to look for him but I must've done the quest already. I got a couple of glimpses of him when I was running people to ToA but I didn't stop to remember the NPC's name or the dialogue that he has (something about grub I think) Obviously it was a run so I wasn't going to stop :P I couldn't find the NPC when I looked up the wiki so I thought I'd ask here. Does anyone know who this NPC is? and what he is involved with? |

The only other NPC I can remember is the guy you got "gunk" from during Wintersday, Gunk Farmer Urme.
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/A_Very_...hie_Wintersday Otherwise there are only 3 NPC's in that zone. Last edited by pkodyssey; Feb 05, 2008 at 01:55 PM // 13:55.. Reason: added link |

He doesn't spawn all the time for some reason, but after a couple of runs to ToA I got him:

Did you talk to him .... see if he has anything?
Only thing I can find about him is the Wintersday thingy. Either it's a bug, or .........................?? |

Cool - I wonder if that's a side-effect of gw.dat bloat? Something that should have been removed but wasn't. The random nature of his spawning is even more intriguing.

Must be a bug. He shouldn't be there outside Wintersday. |

When you talk to him, the dialogue is the same as what it says on the wiki.

I think all the NPCs outside are still there whenever I go. I remember mapping and the one for the termite legs was still there talking. I did have the quest still so maybe that's why.
